Reema Mallick, MD FACS

Dr. Mallick is a graduate of the Northeast Ohio Medical University.  She then completed her general surgery training at the University of Minnesota and spent time at the University of Alabama-Birmingham focused on clinical research on outcomes after endocrine surgery.

She completed her training with a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh in endocrine surgery and specializes in surgery of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. She has specific interests in thyroid cancer and minimally invasive parathyroid surgery, as well as renal hyperparathyroidism.

Dr. Mallick still enjoys the full spectrum of general surgery procedures, including gallbladder disease, hernia repair, and management of breast and alimentary tract disease. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and the Endocrine Society.

When not in the hospital, Reema enjoys experimenting with new recipes, discovering new restaurants, and exploring all that metro Atlanta has to offer.
